I have always found that I'm most happy and fulfilled when my passions collide. Stay Awhile is a product of my appreciation for friendships, love of connecting people with their "new favorite thing" and obsession with growing and evolving businesses.

When I was young, I'd make my own clothes: first with paper, then with actual fabric and scissors when my age allowed for it. There's a photo of me somewhere wearing a literal pair of jeans made from blue construction paper when I was maybe 5 years old.

In high school, I would independently source vintage clothing for resale, and in college, I started my first brand, andfayth, which was a jewelry line I curated with unique statement pieces.

Now, in my late 20's, I'm building a brand with my best friend and it has been one of the most rewarding pursuits of my life, and it's only the beginning. Thank you for Staying Awhile for the journey.

My interest in fashion started in an unexpected way. In sixth grade, I was diagnosed with scoliosis and had to wear a hard plastic back brace for 20 hours a day until high school. It left me feeling confined physically and creatively. That frustration lead me to dreaming about the clothes I wanted to wear but couldn’t. Later inspiring me to pursue a career in fashion.

At 20, I launched my first company, Tops by Taylor — a direct-to-consumer brand that taught me the ins and outs of entrepreneurship and what it takes to bring an idea to life. That journey laid the foundation for everything that followed.

With over seven years of experience in garment manufacturing, I’m now bringing Stay Awhile to life alongside my best friend. Stay Awhile embodies what I seek in the fashion industry today. A brand that leads with a story, speaking to those who notice the details, and is grounded in a strong sense of community.
